The Sri Venkateswara Temple and Cultural Center (SVTCC) is delighted to inform you that all City of Novi and State of Michigan permits have been received, a general contractor has been hired and construction activity for the Temple has commenced as planned and a temporary temple (Balalayam) is scheduled to open in November.

We have the pleasure of announcing the Inauguration of Balalayam (Utsavamoorthy Installation) on Saturday, November 21, 2009. To give everyone an opportunity to take part in the celebrations, we will be conducting Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam in the new Balalayam. Sri Venkatachari Samudrala, Head Priest of SV Temple in Pittsburgh has graciously agreed to preside over and conduct the ceremonies.
