London Dreams Is Average While Opening For Aladin Is Very Dull
Posted : Nov 06 3:09 PM
Aladin had a very dull start of 10-20% on its first day. The reports are not good and the film will probably need a miracle to recover its heavy costs.

London Dreams managed to have an average first day with around 55-60% collections on day one. The film had better collections in the evening. Business in single screens lags multiplexes. The reports are decent but it remains to be seen if it can have that big jump in collections for it to succeed. It has advantage of holiday on Monday but there will be two new releases next week which will take away screen space.

All The Best was rock steady in week 2 with around 13 crore nett collection. The film has now collected 35 crore nett in two weeks. Mumbai has been by far the best circuit and the film is a hit in Mumbai circuit. Overall ABOVE AVERAGE

Blue has fallen heavily in week two with around 8 crore nett collections. The two week nett collections are 38.50 crore and the film is likely to finish at around 42 crore nett and a share of 23 crore. AVERAGE

Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna is a huge loser with around 40 lakhs in week two. The two week nett is around 7.75 crore. DISASTER

Wake Up Sid takes picks up in week four with around 1.75 crore nett. It has taken its four week business to 27.50 crore nett. SEMI HIT

London Dreams has had a poor start in International markets. United Kingdom is best with 1.05 crore. North America grossed around 95 lakhs and UAE was 85 lakhs. The three day total for London Dreams is 3.50 crore

Aladin is very poor with around 50 lakhs in United Kingdom. The rest of the world has added a further 1 crore for first three day total of 1.50 crore.

Blue has done best of all the Diwali releases but is still losing and will gross around 10 crore from all overseas markets.
