With increasing demand for air travel between India and USA, Air India has announced that an additional flight will be added to their current Vande Bharat schedule from Chicago to New Delhi. This will be effective during the winter schedule from October 25th 2020 to March 27th 2021. This direct flight is the best option given the fact that Europe has closed the door on US flights. The non-stop direct flight to New Delhi has convenient connections from New Delhi to various other Indian cities including Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Cochin. Except for Wednesdays there is a flight scheduled daily with departure time of 12:30 pm CST.

All passengers need to wear a mask and must register on web link: https://repat.videshapps.gov.in/regis and submit online Self-Reporting Form on web link https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration.

The Indian Government has now allowed passengers to opt for an exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a form online form link: https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/covid-19-exemption-international-passenger
