Diwali 2022 Greetings

October 24. 2022

Happy Diwali to thousands of Michigan residents celebrating Diwali! The annual “Festival of Lights” symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance" and is celebrated around the world by people of Hindu, Sikh and Jain faiths.

Unlike the last couple of years, this year’s celebrations have been filled with enthusiasm and joy as the world has emerged from the distress caused by COVID-10 pandemic.

Several community events have been observed till date and more are planned in the coming days. Notably, the Diwali Legacy Dinner hosted by CHIPS organization with several community members, industry leaders and elected officials was a truly memorable event.  Diwali festivals were hosted by Canton Township and City of Auburn Hills also.  Local temples and associations are continuing to see record attendees this year.’s Diwali page is a one stop destination for all things Diwali in Michigan.  In addition to events we have listed sale offers from local businesses offering Fireworks, Fashions, Jewelry, Grocery and Dining.

Please see below Diwali Greeting videos from elected officials.

Enjoy and be safe!
