Happy Independence Day America! Salute to US Army specialist Ram Ranga from Michigan

July 4, 2020

As we celebrate the annual Independence Day Holiday, we should take the time to express our gratitude for the everything the United State of America offers to its residents and the world.

Notably, Indian origin Americans continue to make huge contributions in building this great country. During this current COVID-19 epidemic, health care professionals continue to put their own health and safety on the line at care facilities throughout the country. Our contributions in the digital economy has established America as the leader in the world.

Several Indian origin Americans are currently serving the armed forces. Today we like to recognize US Army Specialist Ram Ranga of Michigan for his service to the country.

Ram Ranga from Farmington Hills serves a Reserve ammunitions specialist with the US Army.  He is an expert in demolishing abandoned ammunitions. As a member of the engineering Corp he also works on circuits and landmines.

Ram’s childhood interest in armed services motivated him to enlist with the US Army 5 years ago. He likes the fact that the program encourages leadership and teamwork.  He is currently working on advancing to the Officer category.

Ram currently works at AAA in Dearborn as an Application Developer.  He dedicates one weekend every month for the Army engagement.  He also participates in an annual training regimen for 15-20 days.  Ram grew up in Hyderabad and got married last year.

Thank You Ram Ranga for your service.  God Bless America!!
