This is a healthy side dish loaded with iron, can be eaten with rice, dosa, idli or chapathi.

INGREDIENTS
  • Dry red Chillies - 5
  • Tamarind – Small piece
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Red Onion – 1 medium size
  • Drumstick leaves – 4 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 2 tablespoon

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and dry red chillies and roast till golden. Drain and set aside to cool.
  • Sauté onions till golden and set aside to cool
  • Sauté drumstick leaves in the same pan and cook for 4 to 5 mins.
  • Add salt and tamarind.
  • Blend everything in a blender to a coarse paste.
