
This is a healthy dish one pot dish that can be eaten with rice or chapathi.
INGREDIENTS
Oil: 3 tbsp
Turnips: 2 medium size, cut into small squares
Onion: 1 medium, finely chopped
Tomatoes: 2 medium, finely chopped
Spinach: 2 cups, coarsely chopped
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Garam Masala: 1 tsp
Coriander Powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric: 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Curry leaves: few
Coriander leaves: 2 tbsp, finely chopped
Salt: as required
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Once oil is hot, add onions, curry leaves and cook until onions are soft. Add tomatoes to the mixture and cook until it gets soft.
Add ginger garlic paste, mix well, then add salt, garam masala, coriander powder and chilli powder, sauté further for 2 minutes till raw smell is gone from ginger garlic paste.
Now add turnips, mix well and cook covered for 5 minutes, watch for water, if too dry add some water. Once turnips is ¾ cooked add spinach to it, mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy!
