
This is a delicious snack.
INGREDIENTS
Oil: 4 tbsp
Banana peppers: 12
Moong Dhal: 1 cup
Onion: 1 small
Tomato: 1 small
Garam masala: 1/2 tbsp
Red Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Turmeric: ½ tsp
Salt as needed
Curry leaves few, some cilantro.
Preparation
Wash peppers, cut a slit long way and carefully remove seeds and the core inside.
Cook moong dhal to a mushy consistency, this should be thick.
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, when hot add onions, stir for a minute, then add tomatoes, cook till that is soft. To this add garam masala, chilli power, curry leaves, chilli powder and salt mix everything and cook mixture for 5 min. This should be solid in consistency.
Let this mixture cool. Once cool stuff the peppers with this mixture.
In a shallow pan heat 3 tbsp of oil and shallow fry the peppers, turn peppers so all sides are cooked.
Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
