
This is a very tasty made from Jack fruit and Dates with just a few ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 cups finely chopped Jack Fruit
• 1 cup finely chopped Dates
• Sugar or Jaggery – 1/2 cup
• Ghee – 6 tbsps.
• Cashews – About 10 broken to half’s
• Pinch of Cardamom powder
INSTRUCTIONS
In a heavy bottom pan heat one tablespoon of ghee, once hot add chopped Jack fruit and sauté for a few minutes till it is soft.
Then add finely chopped dates and sauté well.
Cook until this mixture is soft by adding little bit of ghee at a time.
Add sugar or jaggery to this mixture, cook for anther 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove from heat, add Cardamom powder.
Sauté cashews in a bit of ghee, garnish and enjoy!
